Changemakers Foundation is the 501(C)(3) nonprofit arm of Changemakers Studios. Our mission is to inspire action on society’s most pressing social and environmental issues by formulating practical solutions through collaborative action.

It is not enough just to talk about societal change, we must take action towards it. The mission of Changemakers Foundation to develop awareness campaigns and initiatives that create measurable change toward gender equality, racial equity, and environmental sustainability.

 

We develop interactive resources and digital content that provide information and helpful materials that are accessible to everyone. Our initiatives are designed to empower marginalized communities with the knowledge and resources necessary to overcome systemic barriers to opportunity. We also advocate for change in the way we interact with our environment to tackle the climate crisis. We collaborate with thought leaders from around the world to amplify individuals, artists, and creatives who are providing innovative solutions to social and environmental inequity: such as climate change, reproductive rights, and racial justice. We seek to empower a new generation of leaders to create a future that is rooted in sustainability, equity, and diversity. 

 

Our Approach

 

Changemakers Foundation was created to be the voice in defense of global human rights and to protect the dignity and freedom of people everywhere. Our approach is based on diversity, equity, and inclusion. We use an intersectional framework to challenge persistent inequalities and work in ways that are anti-racist and not based on colonial models of engagement. Our approach takes into account that race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, and class are each vast and complex identities that intersect across categories, cultures, and regions.
